Freshman Leanna Minton had four hits, five stolen bases and five runs scored as the Bears picked up two wins.
ORLANDO, FLA.--(3/15/07)--Leanna Minton went 2-for-3 with three runs and three stolen bases as Coast Guard defeated Wisconsin-LaCrosse, 10-2, in a five-inning mercy rule game at the Rebel Games as the Bears snapped a five-game losing streak.
Colleen Denny went 2-for-3 with two RBI for Coast Guard while Colleen Perry allowed just two hits.
In the second game, Minton had two hits, two runs and two stolen bases to lead the Bears past William Paterson, 7-3. Annette Boston had two hits and two RBI for Coast Guard (3-5).
