MEDFORD, MASS.--(2/3/07)--Four Coast Guard runners qualified for the New England championship meet in the mile at the Tufts Invitational.
In the mile, JoEllen Arons was sixth (5:13.21), Tessa Knott was 15th (5:23.23), Jayna McCarron finished 19th (5:24.80)and Lauren Tumulty was 25th (5:31.61).
The Bears finished 10th among 14 schools.
Victoria Stevens was eighth in the shot put (36-6.25) and qualified also for the New Englands.
