LEWISTON, MAINE--(1/13/07)--Mike Flint won the 1,000 meters (2:31.72) and teamed with Pat Fernandez, Mike Haas and Ian Mulcahy to win the 4x800 (8:25.21) at a tri-meet.
MIT won with 165 points, followed by Bates (101) and Coast Guard (88).
Thomas Adams won the 400 (51.63) for Coast Guard while Tom Campbell took second in the high jump (6 feet, 1/4 inch).
Nate Rhodes was second in the pole vault (13-53/4) and Mike Comerford was third (13 feet). Chris Hunt was second in the 35-pound weight throw (45-103/4) for the Bears while Jason Erickson was second in the 800 (1:59.99). Pat Bennett was second in the 55 (6.74) and Kevan Hanson third in the shot put (45 feet, 6 inches).
