NEW LONDON, CONN.--(12/5/06)--Jeff Prebeck had game-high’s with 16 points and 15 rebounds as Coast Guard jumped out to a 32-8 lead and cruised to its fifth straight win an 83-48 victory over Becker in a non-conference game.
Prebeck had 12 points and 11 rebounds in the first half as the Bears had a 42-15 lead at halftime.
Coast Guard led 8-0 just under two minutes into the game and never looked back.
Al Sowers (14), Grant Johnson (11) and Eric Hudson (11) also scored in double figures for Coast Guard (5-1). Sowers had a game-high five assists while Johnson added four assists. Hudson added seven rebounds for the Bears. Freshman Aaron Jones had a career-high nine points, all in the second half for Coast Guard.
Chris Finnimore led Becker (1-6) with 13 points while Emmanuel Masumbuko had a team-high nine rebounds. |
