Football - ECAC North Atlantic Bowl Live on the Web Print E-mail
CAPE COD, Mass. – Interim Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), Stephen R. Bamford, has announced today that the ECAC North Atlantic Football Bowl Game featuring Bridgewater State University (7-2) and the United States Coast Guard Academy (8-2) will be available via a live web cast by Penn Atlantic, Inc. Kickoff is slated for noon at Cadet Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 18. The ECAC has six different football bowl championship games this weekend in three different regions. There will be plenty of tickets available for the football game on Saturday. Season ticket holders should go to Will Call before the game to pick up their tickets.

The live video stream is the first of many to be scheduled with the ECAC in conjunction with Penn Atlantic, Inc. ECAC.tv is scheduled to go live in December and will stream ECAC championship events, championship selection shows, and conferences’ regular-season contests.

The broadcast on Saturday will be free to all viewers and will be available via a link on www.ecac.org.

The ECAC assigns football officials to over 400 Division II and III games across a twelve state region. A total of 435 ECAC football officials were assigned to one or more games this fall. The ECAC has honored 164 football players of the week since early September and will recognize more than 250 football all-stars including 14 players of the year and rookies of the year in the next few weeks.

The ECAC also administers the weekly polls for the coveted Lambert Trophies which are given to the top Division I-A, I-AA, Division II and III programs in the East. These polls are sponsored by FieldTurf Tarkett..
