Women's Indoor Track - Arons Places 12th at NCAA's Print E-mail
Sophomore JoEllen Arons capped off the season by placing 12th in the mile at the 2005-2006 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championship at St. Olaf College.

It was Aron’s first trip to the Division III Indoor Championships after just missing qualifying for the finals in the 1,500 meters by seven-hundreths of a second at the outdoor championships last season.
At the All-New England Championships which consists of teams from Divisions I, II and III, junior Jayna McCarron was the top Coast Guard finisher as she finished fifth earning All-New England honors in the 1,000 (2:59.72).
Freshman Abbie Harms was the top Coast Guard finisher as she placed fifth in the 600 meters (1:40.85) at the Division III New England Championships at Tufts.
Arons was eight in the 1600 (5:06.68) while the 4x800 team of Arons, McCarron, Samantha Gordon and Lauren Powers were seventh (9:45.01) to earn All-New England honors.
