NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/26/06)--Sophomore Nicole Gurr had 18 kills, six blocks and three aces leading Coast Guard to a 3-0 (30-8, 30-13, 30-15) win over Wheaton in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match.
Senior co-captain Christine Rostowfske had 33 assists and six aces for the Bears (8-2, 3-1) while juniors Kim Jung and Corinne McCormack added six kills each.
Allison Reichentahl led Wheaton (2-11, 1-3) with eight digs.
