NEW YORK, N.Y.--(9/23/06)--Coast Guard bounced back from a loss to host and # 14 NYU on Friday night with three wins to finish in second place at the NYU Invitational on Saturday.
Sophomore Nicole Gurr earned a spot on the All-Tournament team as the Bears improved to 7-2 on the season.
Coast Guard beat Johns Hopkins 3-1 (31-29, 30-27, 24-30, 30-23); Elmira 3-0 (30-20, 30-21, 30-22) and Ithaca 3-1 (30-24, 30-21, 27-30, 30-21).
