NEW YORK, N.Y.--(9/22/06)--Coast Guard lost its opening match at the NYU Tournament to host NYU, ranked 14th in the nation, 30-27-30-22, 30-22.
Junior outside hitter Corinne McCormack led the Bears with 10 kills and sophomore middle blocker Nicole Gurr added eight kills and six digs. Senior setter Christine Rostowfske set 24 assists in the loss.
