KISSIMMEE, FLA.--(3/13/10)--Coast Guard, ranked 11th nationally, split a pair of games to wrap up its trip to the Rebel Games. The Bears beat Adrian 2-1 in the opener before falling to Rowan 5-1 in the night cap.

Sophomore Hayley Feindel scattered five hits and struck out 12 in the game one win.

Senior Courtney Wolf tied the game 1-1 with a solo homer in the fourth and the Bears scored the eventual winning run in the sixth on an RBI single by Wolf scoring junior Amanda Frederick, who led off the inning with a double.

The Bears shot themselves in the foot with four errors resulting in four unearned runs in the loss to Rowan. Feindel (4-3) went the distance again and allowed six hits, just one earned run while striking out five.

Rowan scored twice in both the first and second innings for a 4-0 lead.

Coast Guard scored its only run on an RBI single by sophomore Becky Miller in the fifth.

Senior Carin Sweeney had two of the Bears four hits in the loss. The Bears return north with a record of 5-3.
