Holly Bastinck had four hits as the Bears split a pair of games on Wednesday.
KISSIMMEE, FLA.—(3/10/10)—Coast Guard, ranked 11th nationally, scored seven times in the top of the first and beat Greensboro College 12-3 in a game called after five due to the eight-run rule before the Bears fell to No. 5 Coe 1-0 at the Rebel Games.

Freshman Holli Bastinck , who was 3 for 4, highlighted the seven-run first with a two-run triple while classmate Megan Cook and junior Amanda Frederick each had two hits and two RBIs in the game one win.

Freshman Catherine Walker worked the final three innings and allowed seven hits and three runs while striking out one to pickup her first collegiate win. Sophomore Hayley Feindel worked the first two innings and allowed one hit.

In the second game of the day, No. 5 Coe scored the only run of the game in the third inning on an RBI double by Callie Morningstar.

Ashlee Simon fired a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and five walks for Coe while Feindel (3-2) allowed four hits, walked one and struck out three in the loss.

Bastinck had the Bears only hit, a single. Coast Guard left six runners on base.
