Tieran Bonner broke a 16-year old school record in the 55 meters.
LEWISTON, MAINE--(2/20/10)--Freshman Tieran Bonner broke the 16-year old school record and placed third in the 55 meters with a time of 6.52 to earn All-New England honors as the Bears placed 13th of 21 teams at the Division III New England Championships.

The old record in the 55 meters was set by Ahmad Jahaya with a time of 6.61 in 1994.

Also earning All-New England honors for the Bears were Junior Josh Wofford,who placed seventh in the 400 meters with a time of 51.29 and Junior John Jaskot,who took fifth in the high jump (6 feet, 2 inches).

The Bears 4x400 meter relay team of juniors Kyle Coleman, Jesse Cremeans, Dan Miller and Wofford placed seventh with a time of 3:29.60 to earn All-New England honors with a top eight finish.
