NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/4/09)--Emily Zalewski finished 2nd in the 400 meters (1:00.91) and anchored the winning 4 x 400 relay with teammates Margaret Kratz, Alaina Kiskaddon, and Dana Tomc as the Bears placed sixth of the 13 teams at the Coast Guard Invitational.
Also for the Bears, Anne Jefferson was the runner up in the Discus Throw with a mark of 116', Katie Schumacher placed 3rd in the 5000 meters (20:25.38), Bryce Van Cleef placed 4th in the steeplechase with a time of 12:45.20 while Tessa Knoff was 5th in the 1500 with a time of 5:10.95.
