KISSIMMEE, FLA.—-(3/14/09)—-Coast Guard won a pair of games with a 7-1 win over Framingham State and a 8-3 win over Trinity to run its win streak to four at the Rebel Games.

Coast Guard, which finished 14-24 last season, returns home with an 8-2 record.

Junior Crystal Lee Coonan scattered three hits and allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out eight to pickup her first win of the season in the opener.

Coast Guard broke open a 2-1 game with five runs in the sixth inning with seven consecutive singles.

Seniors Annette Boston and Jeannie Crump along with junior Courtney Wolf each had two hits, while Wolf drove in two runs in the game one win.

In the second game of the day, freshman Maddie Buchert highlighted a five-run first inning with a two-run single as the Bears beat Trinity 8-3.

Buchert was 2 for 2 with two RBI and two runs scored in the game two win.

Freshman Hayley Feindel improved to 7-0 on the season as she went the distance allowing two earned runs while walking one and striking out nine.
