Hayley Feindel had two shutouts as the Bears improved to 6-2.
KISSIMMEE, FLA.--(3/13/09)—-Freshman Hayley Feindel pitched a pair of shutouts and struck out 16 as the Bears swept a doubleheader at the Rebel Games.

Coast Guard beat Geneva 1-0 in the opener before blanking Benedictine 3-0.

Feindel fired a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts in the opener and sophomore Amanda Frederick had a walk off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh which scored senior Annette Boston with the winning run.

Senior Jeannie Crump had two hits for the Bears.

In game two, Feindel scattered five hits and struck out five while not walking a batter to record her second shutout of the day.

Coast Guard scored twice in the top of the first inning as senior Colleen Denny delivered an RBI double and in the seventh the Bears added an insurance run on an RBI single by junior Carin Sweeney.

The Bears improve to 6-2 on the season.
