MIDDLETOWN, CONN.--(2/7/09)--Kim Shadwick won the 100 backstroke (1:01.62), the 200 backstroke (1:55.66) and the 100 butterfly (1:00.90), but Coast Guard lost at Wesleyan 162-137 in the final dual meet of the season.

Also for the Bears, Samantha Sworden won the 1,000 freestyle (10:59.51), Sarah-Jane Otey won the 200 freestyle (1:58.50), Amy Olson won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.31) and Krystyna Vihonski won the 200 breaststroke (2:32.50).

Coast Guard finishes the dual meet season 4-6-1 and prepare for the NEWMAC Championships which take place Feb. 20-22 at MIT.
