CAMBRIDGE, MASS.—(1/18/09)—Kim Shadwick won the 100 backstroke (1:01.43), 200 backstroke (2:14.30) and the 500 freestyle (5:15.61), but the Bears lost to both MIT, 199-100 and Springfield 201-98 at MIT.
Also for the Bears, Samantha Sworden was second in the 1,000 freestyle (11:01.26), Krystyna Vihonski was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.42).
