Dana Tomc won the 400 meters and was part of a winning relay as the Bears placed second.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(1/17/09)--Dana Tomc won the 400 meters with a time of 1:04.37 and was part of the winning 4x400 meter relay team leading Coast Guard to a second place finish at the Coast Guard Winter Invitational.

Rhode Island College won the meet with 241 points, the Bears were second with 138 followed by Conn. College (122) and Merchant Marine (18).

Tomc teamed with Alaina Kiskaddon, Margaret Kratz and KC Gaudette to win the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:25.25.

Kiskaddon placed second in the 400 meters (1:04.50) while Jasmine Elliott was second in the 200 meters (29.20) and third in the 400 meters (1:05.46) in her first collegiate meet.

Also for the Bears, Rebecca Rebar won the 800 meters in her collegiate debut with a time of 2:52.92.
