Women's Swimming - Bears Lose One and Tie One at Wheaton
Heidi Gayman won the 200 freestyle at the tri-meet.
NORTON, MASS.--(11/15/08)--Sophomore Kim Shadwick won a pair of events and placed second in another as the Bears tied host Wheaton 149.5-149.5 and lost to NYU 206-93.
Shadwick won the 100 backstroke (1:02.12), set the school-record and won the 200 backstroke (2:12) while placing second in the 100 butterfly (1:01.42).
Freshman Samantha Sworden won the 1,000 freestyle (10:46.21) and classmate Heidi Gayman won the 200 freestyle (2:00.23).
Sophomore Alyse Marquinez placed second in the 1-meter diving event (175.05) while senior Krystyna Vihonski took second in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.51).
