MILTON, MASS.--(11/15/08)--Seniors James Toohey and Peter Deneen scored first half goals as third-seeded Coast Guard beat second-seeded Curry 2-0 in the semifinals of the ECAC Division III men's soccer tournament.

The Bears will now host top-seeded Eastern Connecticut, which beat fourth-seeded Husson in the semifinals, in the ECAC Championship Game on Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern's field is unplayable due to the rain over the past few days.

The top-seeded Warriors are the only team to beat Coast Guard on its home field this season. Eastern beat Coast Guard 1-0 on October 15th. The Bears are 9-1-1 at home this year.

The game can be heard live at www.sportsjuice.com.

Toohey scored just 2:18 into the match with senior Thomas Cameron assisting.

Deneen scored an unassisted goal in the 15th minute as the Bears made it stand advancing to the ECAC Championship Game for the first time since 1998, when Coast Guard won the ECAC Metro Championship.

Junior goalkeeper Tim Olah made eight saves to record his seventh shutout of the season for the Bears (12-8-1).

Curry (16-5-3) outshot Coast Guard 18-13.
