Jim Okorn was a part of five winning relays as the Bears won the Union Relays
SCHENECTADY, N.Y.--(11/1/08)--Senior Jim Okorn was a member of five winning relay teams as Coast Guard won the season opening Union Relays beating the host Dutchmen 122-118 for first place.

The 400 medley relay team of Ryan Taylor, Jack Sauve, Dan Alley and Okorn won with a time of 3:40.43. The 500 freestyle crescendo relay team of Johnson Knox, Okorn, Bryan Andrews and Brian McGuiness won with a time of 4:19.30.

Okorn was also part of the winning 200 free relay team with Taylor Volkman, and Dan Beshoar (1:27.66), the victorious 200 medley relay team with Taylor, Sauve and Knox (1:38.75) as well as the 400 freestyle relay team with Knox, Beshoar and Andrews (3:15.13).

Also winning for the Bears were the 600 IM relay team of Alley, Odom and Carman (6:12.09) and the 300 breaststroke relay team of Matt Odom, Mike Carman and Sauve, who won with a time of 3:02.51
