Men's Cross Country - Bears Place 2nd at UMass Darmouth Invitational
Mike Persun placed 8th overall leading the Bears to a second place finish.
DARTMOUTH, MASS.--(9/20/08)--Coast Guard placed three runners in the top 21 spots as the Bears placed second of the 38 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
Keene State won with 85 points while the Bears finished with 115 points.
Mike Persun placed 8th overall (25:18), Mike Haas was 12th (25:25) and Nate Crum was 21st (25:33).
Three others placed in the top 50 as Pat Fernandez (25:47) was 32nd, Zach Hennighausen was 42nd (25:59) and Trevor Siperek (26:13) was 49th.
