Thomas Cameron scored twice as the Bears remained unbeaten with a 5-0 win over Salve Regina.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/10/08)--Senior Thomas Cameron scored a pair of goals and junior Jacob Larsen added two assists as four different players scored and Coast Guard, off to its best start since 1994, remained unbeaten with a 5-0 win over Salve Regina in a non-conference game.

The Bears improve to 4-0, their best start since beginning the 1994 season with six straight wins.

Senior defender Ben Walsh opened the scoring with just 1:38 left in the first half, scoring his first career goal, the only goal of the first half.

Sophomore Nick Devine gave the Bears a 2-0 lead just 5:13 into the second half with junior Brandon McMillan assisting.

Cameron scored in the 61st minute from Larsen before freshman Kevin Noll scored his first career goal in the 67th minute on a header, also from Larsen. Cameron closed the scoring with a goal in the 73rd minute with an unassisted goal.

Junior Tim Olah recorded his third shutout of the season and 13th of his career as he made four saves. Olah has allowed just one goal, a penalty kick, this season in four games.

Coast Guard outshot Salve Regina 24-8.

Junior Kurt Ginthwain made 11 saves for the Seahawks (0-3).
