SPRINGFIELD, MASS.--(5/16/08)--Senior Chris Hunt had a personal best throw for the third straight week, this time he had a toss of 181 feet, nine inches to place second in the hammer at the ECAC Division III Championships at Springfield College.
Senior Steve Blum placed fourth in the decathlon with 5,884 points. He won the shot put (43-10.75) and javelin (172-5) while placing second in the discus (121-5) during the decathlon.
Junior Tyler Ashner tied for fourth in the high jump (6-2.25) while freshman Kyle Coleman placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles (55.31).
Coast Guard placed 17th of 53 teams with 18.5 points.
