United States Coast Guard Academy - Department of Athletics

NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/16/07)--Cody Isaacson, Vince Falco, Lynn Schrayshuen, Craig Moebus and Chris Pince won both singles and doubles matches as Coast Guard blanked Mitchell 9-0.

Isaacson (# 1 singles), Falco (# 2 singles), Schrayshuen (# 3 singles), Moebus (# 4 singles) and Pince (# 5 singles) all won in straight sets.

Isaacson/Falco (# 1 doubles), Schrayshuen/Brett Stillman (# 2 doubles)and Moebus/Pince (# 3 doubles) all earned doubles points for the Bears.

Men's Tennis - Camels Beat Bears

NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/13/07)--Connecticut College improved to 7-5 with a 6-3 victory in a match played at the Coast Guard Academy (4-5) Thursday afternoon. Andrew Watts and Andrew Meyer paced the Camels with victories in singles and doubles play in this Whaling City match-up.

Men's Tennis - Bears Beat Albertus Magnus 8-1

NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/5/07)--Coast Guard won five of six singles matches and defeated Albertus Magnus, 8-1.

Tim Ozimek, Vince Falco, Craig Moebus, Chris Pince and Brett Sillman each won a singles match for the Bears (4-2). Albertus Magnus is 1-3.

Tennis - Bears Winning Streak Ends at Babson

BABSON PARK, MASS.--(3/31/07)--The Babson College men’s tennis team ended a five-match slide with a 7-2 victory over the visiting U.S. Coast Guard Academy to end the Bears three match winning streak. With the victory, the Beavers improved to 3-13 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the Bears fell to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the NEWMAC.
