 Emily Zalewski tied a school record in the 400 meters. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/18/09)--Sophomore Emily Zalewski tied the school record in the 400 meters, winning the event as the Bears placed fifth of 13 teams at the Silfen Invitational at Conn. College.
Zalewski also anchored the first place 4x400 relay team with a time of 4:15.37 also run by Margaret Kratz, Dana Tomc and Alaina Kiskaddon.
Kiskaddon also placed second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:10.20. Claire Delanoy was the top collegiate finisher in the women’s pole vault with a jump of eight feet.
