Men's Outdoor Track - Coleman Earns All-New England Honors

Kyle Coleman placed seventh in the 400 hurdles to earn All-New England honors for the second straight season.
DEDHAM, MASS.--(5/8/10)--Kyle Coleman earned All-New England honors as he qualified for the finals in the 400 hurdles and placed 7th in the trials with a time of 54.78 at the All-New England Championships featuring athletes from Divisions I, II and III.

Coleman earns All-New England honors at the All-New England Championships for the second straight season after placing sixth last season.
 
Men's Outdoor Track - Five Bears Earn All-NE Honors

John Jaskot earned All-New England honors in the high jump with a fourth place finish.
MEDFORD, MASS.--(5/1/10)--Kyle Coleman placed second in the 400 meter hurdles (54.82) as five Coast Guard athletes earned All-New England honors with top eight finishes at the Division III New England Championships at Tufts University.

The Bears placed 14th of 25 teams. Also earning All-New England honors were John Jaskot, who was fourth in the high jump (6 feet, 4 inches), Jesse Cremeans placed seventh in the long jump (22 feet, 1 inch), Carl Stokes was seventh in the discus (143 feet, 2 inches) and Trevor Siperek was eighth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (9:43.39)

Men's Outdoor Track - Jaskot, Coleman Win at NEWMAC Championships

Kyle Coleman won the 400 meter hurdles and was part of the 4x400 relay team which placed third.
SPRINGFIELD, MASS.--(4/24/10)--John Jaskot won the high jump while Kyle Coleman won the 400 meter hurdles to lead Coast Guard to a fifth place finish at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championships hosted by Springfield.

Jaskot won with a jump of six feet, 3.25 inches while Coleman won the NEWMAC championship with a time of 55.14.

Coast Guard finished with 79.5 points while MIT won with 249 points.

Men's Outdoor Track - Bears Capture Silfen Invitational

Nate Crum won the 1,500 meters to lead the Bears to the championship.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/17/10)--Josh Wofford, Nate Crum and Kyle Coleman each won events as Coast Guard won the Silfen Invitational at Connecticut College.

Wofford won the 400 meters (49.78), Crum won the 1,500 meters (4:05.90) while Coleman captured the 400 hurdles (55.27) as the Bears won the ten team Invitational with 153 points. UMass Dartmouth was second with 140 points.

The Bears 4x400 relay team also won with a time of 3:24.36.

Coast Guard had four second place finishes, Tiernan Bonner in the 200 meters (22.89), Mike Mrkvicka in the 1,500 meters (4:06.20), John Jaskot in the high jump (6 feet, 3.25 inches) and Ian Sankey in the pole vault (12 feet, 9 inches).
