WORCESTER, MASS.--(4/18/12)--Sophomore Clay Koscack is in ninth place after Day One of the Holy Cross Decathlon.
Kosack is in 9th place with 2870 points after day one of competition. He posted his college best time of 11.80 in the 100 meters and followed it up jumping 18' 4.25" in the long jump. In the shot put, Kosack's best throw was 35' 4.5". He closed out the day with the high jump jumping 5' 2.5" and running the 400 meters in 53.12. Tomorrow Kosack will contest the 110 meter hurdles, Javelin, Discus, Pole Vault, and 1500 meters.

 Jordan Lee won the 800 meters and was part of the winning 4x400 relay. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/14/12)--Sophomore Adam Scalesse broke the facility and school record in the 110 hurdles and won both the 110 hurdles and the 400 hurdles while classmate Jordan Lee won the 800 meters and was part of the winning 4x400 relay team to lead the Bears in a home meet with Springfield and WPI.
Springfield won with 161 points, WPI was second with 134 while Coast Guard finished with 105 points.
Adam Scalesse won the 110 hurdles (14.44) which is the second best time in the nation currently and the 400 hurdles (54.86) while Lee won the 800 meters in 1:57.88.
The Bears 4x400 relay team of Kelcey Smith, Ben Wolhaupter, Lee and Joe Kelly won with a time of 3:28.99 |

 Ben Wolhaupter won the pole vault DARTMOUTH, MASS.--(4/7/12)--Coast Guard won four events leading the Bears to a second place finish at the Corsair Classic at UMass Dartmouth.
The Bears were second with 116 points while host UMass Dartmouth won the 14 team meet with 141.5 points.
Sophomore Ben Wolhaupter won the pole vault (14-3.5) while freshman Christian Von Stralendorff was third (10-6).
Sophomore Adam Scalesse won the 400 hurdles with a time of 54.60, senior Joe Hill won the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:39.40 while sophomore Matt Monahan took third in the event with a time of 16:26.30. |

 Adam Scalesse has the second fastest time nationally in the 110 hurdles. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/2/12)--Coast Guard sophomore All-American Adam Scalesse earned NEWMAC Track Athlete of the Week.
Scalesse won both the 110 hurdles and the intermediate hurdles at the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday.
His time is now the second best time in the country in the 110 meter hurdles running 14.46. |
