 Amanda Frederick hit .500 with a 1.017 slugging percentage to earn NEWMAC Player of the Week honors.
Feindel was dominating once again this week as she didn’t allow a run, threw two NEWMAC shutouts, won three games and recorded a save as Coast Guard won all four games to run its win streak to eight.
Hayley threw a pair of shutouts against Wheaton on Saturday and for the week she threw 20 innings and allowed no runs, eight hits while walking six and fanning 32 holding the opponents to a .121 batting average. |

 Becky Miller had two hits and three RBIs in the game one win.
Black, making her first career start, worked 5 2/3 innings in the night cap allowing four hits while not walking a batter and striking out eight. Feindel came on in the sixth with the go ahead run at the plate and recorded a strikeout before fanning two more in the seventh to record her first career save. |

 Hayley Feindel tossed a pair of shutouts in her NEWMAC debut.
Feindel (9-1) fired a four-hit shutout while walking one and striking out 11 in the opener.
Coast Guard (10-2, 2-0) got the only run it would need as as freshman Maddie Buchert's RBI single plated its first run in the second as the Bears took a 2-0 lead.
Sophomore Amanda Frederick, senior Colleen Denny and sophomore Becky Miller, who all had two hits in the game one win, all had RBI hits in the fifth as Coast Guard took a 5-0 lead. |

Hayley Feindel was a perfect 7-0 at the Rebel Games.
Feindel was outstanding on the Bears trip to the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Fla. She posted a 7-1 record with a 0.91 ERA. She had 84 strikeouts in 61.3 innings pitched with just eight earned runs allowed. Feindel also had three shutouts.
Coast Guard was 8-2 on the trip and open conference play at Wheaton, a doubleheader, on Saturday at noon.
