 Hayley Feindel was remarkable in Florida allowing just one run in 65 innings to earn NEWMAC Player of the Week honors. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(3/14/11)--Junior All-American Hayley Feindel has been named the first New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week for the 2011 season as Coast Guard, ranked 14th nationally, won all ten games to start the season at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Fla.
Feindel was absolutely dominating down South as she went 10-0 and allowed just one run in 65 innings for a gaudy 0.11 ERA. The junior, who threw 55 consecutive scoreless innings to start the season, fired nine complete games, eight shutouts, a no-hitter, a combined no-hitter, a pair of one-hitters an four two-hitters during the week. She allowed just 20 hits while walking 15 and striking out 118 batters. |

 Megan Cook had a huge two-run in the win over Rowan. KISSIMMEE, FLA.--(3/12/11)--Coast Guard, ranked 14th nationally, ran its winning streak to ten to start the season finishing a school-record and perfect 10-0 at the Rebel Games to start the season with a 2-1 win over Rowan and a 5-0 win over Wisconsin-Platteville.
Junior All-American Hayley Feindel allowed her first run of the season in the fifth inning of the opener. Feindel threw 55 consecutive scoreless inning to start the season.
Rowan led 1-0 before the Bears answered with two runs in the home half of the fifth on a two-run double by sophomore Megan Cook. Freshman Devin Fellman had two hits including a double for Coast Guard.
Feindel scattered five hits, walked two and struck out nine in the game one win. |

KISSIMMEE, FLA.--(3/11/11)--Junior All-American Hayley Feindel ran her scoreless innings streak to 51 to start the season as she threw two more shutouts and the Bears, ranked 14th nationally, won a pair of wins at the Rebel Games.

 Hayley Feindel registered her seventh career no-hitter and extended her scoreless inning streak to 39 this season. KISSIMMEE, FLA.--(3/9/11)--Junior All-American Hayley Feindel threw her seventh career no-hitter and also fired a one-hitter to stretch her scoreless innings streak to 39 to start the season as Coast Guard, ranked 16th nationally, improved to 6-0, the best start in school history with a pair of wins at the Rebel Games.
Feindel now has five shutouts in the first six games of the season. Coast Guard beat Albion 2-0 and Lake Forest 1-0.
In the first game of the day against Albion, Coast Guard scored both runs in the top of the first inning as freshman Devin Fellman drew a leadoff walk, advanced to third on junior Maddie Buchert's sacrifice bunt and later scored on senior Amanda Frederick's triple. Frederick scored on sophomore Holli Bastinck's RBI single. |
