 Ryan Milligan had four hits, four runs scored and three RBI's in the win. FORT MYERS, FLA.--(3/13/08)--Coast Guard pounded out 24 hits, 23 of them singles as the Bears won their third straight beating Penn. State Abington 20-6 at the Gene Cusic Classic.
In the bottom of second, Coast Guard (3-3) sent 14 batters to the plate as all nine players scored and the Bears scored 11 times to take a 12-0 lead.

 Brian Lisko had two hits including a homer and three RBI's in the win. FORT MYERS, FLA.--(3/11/08)--Freshman Jesse Karr, making his first career start, pitched six solid innings allowing just one earned run to pickup his first career win while senior Brian Lisko and sophomore Steve Arguelles homered leading Coast Guard to a 13-2 win over Emerson at the Gene Cusic Classic.
Arguelles had a two-run homer, Lisko had a two-run homer and drove in three runs while junior Steve Lewis had three hits including a double and three RBI’s as the Bears (2-3) pounded out 17 hits.
Senior Ken Franklin added three hits including a triple, scored three runs and drove in a run, while sophomore Keith Laird had a pair of triples and three runs scored. |

 Kevin Thomas picked up his first career win as the Bears won their first game of the season FORT MYERS, FLA.—(3/9/08)—Junior Kevin Thomas went the distance allowing just one earned run to pickup his first career win as Coast Guard exploded for 16 runs and 17 hits to pickup its first win of the season, 16-3 over Southern Vermont at the Gene Cusic Classic.
Senior Ken Franklin led the way with three hits to go with two RBI’s while six players led by sophomore Steve Arguelles, who had four RBI’s each had two hits.
Senior Brian Lisko and junior Adam Reckley each had two hits and two RBI’s while juniors Kevin Keefe, Bill Birch and Brian Yurovich along with senior Christian George each had two hits in the win. |

FORT MYERS, FLA.--(3/8/08)--Merchant Marine jumped out to a 10-1 lead after four innings and held off Coast Guard 12-9 in game one and the Mariners beat the Bears 15-12 in the nightcap to sweep a doubleheader at the Gene Cusic Classic.
In game one, Coast Guard scored seven runs in the top of fifth to pull to within 10-8 as junior Kevin Keefe and sophomore Steve Arguelles each had two-run doubles while junior Brian Yurovich, junior Bill Birch and senior Adam Reckley.
Reckley and Birch each had three hits as the Bears totaled 13 hits in the game. Arguelles, Yurovich and senior Brian Lisko each added two hits for Coast Guard. |
