 Joe Kidwell won all four matches at 125 pounds for Coast Guard.
Coast Guard lost to Wilkes 34-10, Oneonta State 31-12, Cortland 35-15 and Ursinus 37-12 to drop to 0-5 in dual meets this season.
Kidwell, wrestling at 125 pounds, won three decisions and also recorded a win by tech. fall.
Snyder won two decisions and a major decision at 157 pounds for the Bears. |

 Will Stark was one of three Bears to pick up wins by decision in the first dual meet of the season.
The Hawks improve to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Pilgrim League while it was the first dual meet of the season for Coast Guard.
Coast Guard forfeited at 125 pounds while Roger Williams forfeited at 133 pounds to start the match.
Freshman Josh Gerry beat freshman James Higgins 6-2 at 141 pounds to give the Bears a 9-6 lead. |

 Andy Snyder placed 157 pounds for the Bears.
Gerry who won and placed second in his first two collegiate Invitationals again took second place as he pinned his first two opponents and then won an 11-5 decision to advance to the championship match where he lost 4-3 to Travis Drappi of Rhode Island College 4-3.
The talented freshman is the two-time defending New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Rookie of the Week. Gerry is now 10-2 in his 12 matches this season. |

 Josh Gerry earned NEWA Rookie of the Week honors for the second straight week.
Gerry, who began his collegiate career by winning the 133 pound weight class at the Messiah Invitational on Nov. 6th, placed second this week at the Roger Williams Invitational.
He won his first three matches by scores of 11-0, 12-7 and 11-2 before losing by tech fall in the championship match to Billy Cole of Southern Maine.
Coast Guard will compete at the Doug Parker Invitational at Springfield College on Saturday.
