 Sarah Blatt placed fourth in the 1,000 meters at MIT. CAMBRIDGE, MASS.--(2/6/10)--Coast Guard battled New England powers Williams and MIT as Williams won the tri-meet at MIT.
Freshman Sarah Blatt was the top Coast Guard finisher as she placed fourth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:10.99 a time which qualifies her for the Division III New England Championships.
Williams won with 208 points, MIT had 132 points and Coast Guard finished with 15 points. |

 Sarah Blatt won the mile and was part of a winning relay team for the Bears. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(1/30/10)--Freshman Sarah Blatt won the mile qualifying for the Division III New England Championships and was part of a winning relay team as the Bears placed fourth at the Coast Guard Invitational.
Westfield State won the meet with 156 points, Eastern Connecticut was second (154) followed by Smith (119), Coast Guard (60) and Trinity (36).
Blatt won the mile with a time of 5:29.20 while junior Alaina Kisdaddon won the 800 meters in 2:31.99. |

 Alaina Kiskaddon qualified for the D III New England Championships in the 600 meters. SPRINGFIELD, MASS.--(1/23/10)--Alaina Kiskaddon took 2nd place in the 600 meters with a time of 1:43.49 which qualifies her for the Division III New England Championships as the Bears placed sixth at the Springfield Invitational.
Sarah Blatt also qualified for Division III New England Championships by finishing 2nd in the 800 meters with a time of 2:28.34.
The 4x800 meter relay also earned a 2nd place finish with a time of 10:27.89 run by Tessa Knott, Colin Fall, Kiskaddon, and Blatt. |

 Tessa Knott won the 1,000 meters and was part of the winning 4x800 relay. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(1/16/10)--Senior Tessa Knott won the 1,000 meters and was part of the 4x800 relay team which won as the Bears placed third at the season opening Coast Guard Invitational.
Knott won the 1,000 with a time of 3:20.72 and teamed with junior Colin Fall, freshman Julianna Neatrour and freshman Sarah Blatt to win the 4x800 relay in 10:55.24.
Also for the Bears, junior Alaina Kiskaddon captured the 400 meters with a time of 1:03.09 and freshman Gina Caylor placed second in the pole vault (7 feet, 6 inches).
Conn. College won the meet with 224 points, Rhode Island College was second (160), the Bears were third (125) and Merchant Marine was fourth with 53 points.
