Mary Mills kept the Bears in the game as she tied a season-high with 13 saves.
WELLESLEY, MASS.--(10/8/11)--Sophomore Emily Wilson's 36th-minute goal proved to be game-winner as the Wellesley picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win over NEWMAC-rival Coast Guard on a warm Saturday afternoon in Wellesley.

Wilson carried the ball across midfield and launched a perfect shot from 20 yards out that found the back of the net for the eventual game-winner. The goal, her first as a collegiate player, handed the Blue their second conference victory.

Women's Soccer - Bears Fall in Double Overtime

Shannah Shelton tied the school-record with her 15th career assist.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(10/4/11)--Senior Mary Cooke scored with 7:57 left in the second overtime as Mount Holyoke snapped a five-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Coast Guard in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game.

The Lyons improve to 3-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play while Coast Guard extends its winless streak to four and drops to 4-5-1 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play.

Freshman Hannah Yee scored a pair of headers off corner kicks in the 16th and 23rd minutes to give the Lyons a 2-0 lead. Junior Mallory Phaneuf assisted on both Yee goals for Mount Holyoke.

Women's Soccer - Bears Fall 1-0 at Clark
WORCESTER, MASS.--(10/1/11)--Sophomore striker Janelle Pasternack scored the game’s lone goal in the 72nd minute, propelling host Clark University to a 1-0 win over Coast Guard in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s soccer action.

The win for the Cougars (3-6-1, 1-1-1 NEWMAC), snaps a six match winless streak, while the Bears (4-4-1, 0-2-1 NEWMAC) have not scored in their last three games.

Women's Soccer - Bears Fall at Conn. College
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/27/11)--Freshman forward Grace Bilodeau scored twice and Trish Guay assisted on both goals to lead the host Connecticut College Camels to a 2-0 victory against the Coast Guard in the annual showdown of Route 32 Rivals.

The Camels improve to 1-3-1 with the win, while the Bears fall to 4-3-1. Connecticut College leads the all-time series 11-to-1.

Rookie net-minder Natalie Signor stopped seven shots en route to her first collegiate shutout for the Camels.

Senior Mary Mills, the reigning New England Men’s and Women’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Defensive Player of the Week, had five saves for the Bears.
