NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/10/08)--Senior Thomas Cameron scored a pair of goals and junior Jacob Larsen added two assists as four different players scored and Coast Guard, off to its best start since 1994, remained unbeaten with a 5-0 win over Salve Regina in a non-conference game.
The Bears improve to 4-0, their best start since beginning the 1994 season with six straight wins.
Senior defender Ben Walsh opened the scoring with just 1:38 left in the first half, scoring his first career goal, the only goal of the first half.
Sophomore Nick Devine gave the Bears a 2-0 lead just 5:13 into the second half with junior Brandon McMillan assisting. |

NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/6/08)--Senior Dave O’Brien and sophomore Nick Devine each scored a pair of goals as the Bears scored five times in the first half and remained unbeaten with a 7-1 win over Mass. Maritime in a non-conference game.
Senior tri-captain Thomas Cameron opened the scoring, 7:55 into the match for Coast Guard with junior Jacob Larsen assisting.
O’Brien scored just 55 seconds later, assisted by senior tri-captain Peter Deneen and then again in the 25th minute as Coast Guard (3-0) took a 3-0 lead. |

 Junior Tim Olah recorded his second straight shutout as the Bears improved to 2-0 on the young season. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/3/08)--Coast Guard took advantage of a Mitchell mistake in the opening minutes and junior goalkeeper Tim Olah need to make just one save to record his second straight shutout to start the season as the Bears beat cross town rival Mitchell 1-0 in non-conference game.
The Bears took the lead just one minute and 37 seconds into the match on an own goal when senior Thomas Cameron’s throw in went off of Mitchell goalkeeper junior Andrew Hall.
Coast Guard outshot Mitchell 19-4. Hall made four saves for the Mariners.
The Bears (2-0) are now 4-0 all-time against the Mariners.

HENNIKER, N.H.--(8/30/08)--Senior tri-captain Thomas Cameron scored the only goal of the game halfway through the second half to lift Coast Guard to a 1-0 win ofer New England College in the season opener for both teams.
The two teams would battle closely through the first half of play as both teams would muster just two shots on goal. Coast Guard would have several opportunities early in the second half but the Pilgrim defense would hold strong keeping the Bears off the board. |
