Men's Cross Country - CGA Places 7th at Codfish Bowl

Trevor Siperek was the top Coast Guard finisher at the Codfish Bowl.
BOSTON, MASS.--(9/25/10)--Junior Trevor Siperek was the top Coast Guard finisher as he placed 12th overall leading the Bears to a seventh place finish of the 23 teams at the 43rd Annual Codfish Bowl.

Siperek ran the 8K course in 26:33 while senior Nate Crum was 21st overall in 26:56 to lead the Bears.

Freshman Gary Ezzo placed 39th in 27:41, junior Kevin O'Brien was 51st overall in 27:57 while senior Cory Fagan ran a 28:27 and finished 63rd for Coast Guard.
 
Men's Cross Country - Bears Place 8th at UMass Dartmouth

Nate Crum was the top Coast Guard finisher at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
NORTH DARTMOUTH, MASS.--(9/18/10)--Senior Nate Crum was the top Coast Guard finisher as he placed 21st overall and the Bears took 8th place of the 36 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.

Crum finished with a time of 25:24. Also for the Bears, Trevor Siperek was 29th (25:35), Andrew Price was 45th (26:02), Kevin O'Brien placed 59th with a time of 26:16 and Gary Ezzo was 62nd in 26:18.
 
Men's Cross Country - Bears Capture Smith Invitational

Nate Crum captured the season opening Smith Invitational.
NORTHAMPTON, MASS.--(9/11/10)--Senior Nate Crum won the season-opening Smith Invitational and Coast Guard took four of the top five spots.

Crum ran the the 5k course in 16:41.12 to beat out teammate junior Trevor Siperek, who finishes in 16:46.22.

Senior Andrew Price (17:08.13) was fourth overall while freshman Gary Ezzo (17:14.36) was fifth overall in his collegiate debut.

Men's Cross Country - 2010 Season Preview

Kevin O'Brien, last year's team MVP, is back for the Bears this season.
Coast Guard will be led by the strength of its senior class during the 2010 season.

The Bears welcome back senior Nate Crum, who spent last year as an exchange cadet at Air Force along with senior Cory Fagan. Senior captains Andrew Price and Scott Nichols round give the Bears four solid seniors to lead the team.

Junior Kevin O’Brien, last year’s team MVP, who earned All-conference honors with an 11th place finish at the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship and junior Trevor Siperek, who placed 20th at the NEWMAC Championships a year ago, were the Bears top two runners last season and are both back in 2010. Price placed 15th at the NEWMAC Championships last season.
