The Coast Guard Academy Division of Athletics teamed with Boathouse Sports to bring to you the first ever team store this Fall.

The store has been extended two more week and will now close on Monday, Nov. 7th.

The store allows you to buy custom Coast Guard Academy Athletics gear with the proceeds benefiting the Athletics Division.

Volleyball - Bears Run Win Streak to Five

Keriann Mason had 13 kills and 14 digs to lead the Bears past Trinity.

NEW LONDON, CONN.--(10/19/11)--Junior Keriann Mason had 13 kills and 14 digs while sophomore Kelsey DePorto also had 13 kills leading Coast Guard, ranked sixth in New England, to a 3-1 win over Trinity in a non-conference match.

The Bears, who have won five straight and eight of their last nine matches, won by game scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-22 and 25-18 to improve to 19-5 overall while Trinity dropped its third straight to dip to 13-6 on the season.

Freshman Kelsey Hickle added 12 kills and four aces while sophomore Sam Marmolejo had a team-high 21 digs in the win for Coast Guard.

Coast Guard jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the opening game, took its largest lead of the game 16-8, and scored six of the final eight points for a 25-16 win.

Shannah Shelton's goal was the difference as the Bears won their first NEWMAC game of the season.

NEW LONDON, CONN.--(10/18/11)--Senior Shannah Shelton scored the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute as Coast Guard snapped a six-game winless streak and won their first conference game of the season by beating Smith 1-0 in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game.

The Bears snapped an 11-game winless streak in conference play dating back to last season as the Bears were 0-10-1 in their last 11 NEWMAC games.

Coast Guard improves to 5-7-1 overall and 1-5-1 in conference play while Smith drops to 2-10 overall and 1-6 in the NEWMAC.

The goal was Shelton's team-leading fifth of the season. Sophomore Judy Hooymans added her second assist of the season on the goal for Coast Guard.
