Dan begins his 11th season as head coach of the men’s and women’s track program. In 10 years, CGA has produced 11 NCAA All Americans and 33 NCAA qualifiers.
Rose was the head coach of both the cross country and track teams at Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News, Va. prior to coming to the Academy. Before coaching at Hampton Roads Academy, Rose served as assistant track and field coach and assistant director of Intramurals for two years at his alma mater, Springfield College.
A four year varsity member of the Springfield College track team, Rose earned all Eastern Conference honors in the Discus. Rose earned his masters in Athletic Administration from Springfield in 1995.
Rose has conducted clinics on the high jump and javelin, served as a member of the games committee for the Division III New Englands, ECAC’s, and the NEWMAC championships.
